“I am grateful for the chance to work with the Mumbai Indians once again. The Mumbai Indians aim for greatness in all aspects of the game, and scouting talent is unquestionably one of their most valuable assets. It’s the start of a new chapter for me, and I see it as a chance to give back to cricket,” Vinay added.

“I am thrilled to have Vinay join our talent scout programme,” Mumbai Indians owner Akash Ambani said. The Mumbai Indians were founded on the principles of identifying potential and developing young. Vinay, I am sure, will bring value to our philosophies and scouting capabilities.”

Vinay is the most recent addition to the reigning champion’s talent scout section, which also includes Parthiv Patel.
