On Tuesday, the eight current Indian Premier League (IPL) clubs filed their player retention list for the next season. They were only permitted to keep four, while the two new franchises — Lucknow and Ahmedabad — were given the option of acquiring three players from the rest of the player pool before the January auction. The following is a list of MI’s players that have been retained ahead of the IPL 2022 auction.
Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Kieron Pollard, and Suryakumar Yadav play for the Mumbai Indians.
The two new franchises have till December 25 to sign two Indian and one international player.
