IPL all match prediction : Watch Chennai Super Kings Begin IPL 2022 Training in Surat

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have already begun their preparations for the IPL 2022 season in Surat. MS Dhoni, the Indian captain, and a number of local players have arrived at the ‘Diamond City of India.’ On March 6, the BCCI released the official IPL 2022 schedule, confirming that the defending champions would face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the tournament opener.

KM Asif, Tushar Deshpande, C Hari Nishanth, and Rajvardhan Hangargekar can be seen exercising hard with ‘Captain Cool’ ahead of the mega-event in photos released on CSK’s social media accounts.

For the next three days, the squad will be based at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium. The dirt of the pitches of this stadium is the same as that of Mumbai wickets, which is why Dhoni and his teammates picked it.

CSK will play 11 of its 14 league games in Mumbai (Wankhede, Brabourne, and DY Patil), and this decision might out to be a masterstroke.

CSK will be without Deepak Chahar for the most of the IPL 2022 season.

CSK’s leading bowler, Deepak Chahar, is expected to miss a large amount of the 2017 season owing to injury. According to ESPNcricinfo, Deepak Chahar might be absent for many weeks.

In the third match of the current India versus West Indies T20I series, the medium-pacer hurt his right quadriceps while bowling his second over. Deepak was unable to finish the task and was forced to leave the field in discomfort. Later in the T20I series against Sri Lanka, the bowling all-rounder was ruled out.

Deepak Chahar was purchased by Chennai Super Kings for INR 14 crores at the IPL 2022 mega-auctions. For a long time, the 29-year-old has been MS Dhoni’s go-to new ball bowler, and his absence would surely jeopardise CSK’s prospects of winning the IPL for the fifth time in 2022.
