The IPL 2022 schedule was released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday. In all, 70 league games and four playoff games will be played over the course of 65 days. The 15th season will kick off on March 26 at Wankhede Stadium with a high-profile match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.

IPL 2022 Schedule: Against March 27, the league will have its first double-header, with the Delhi Capitals taking on the Mumbai Indians in a Day game at Brabourne. The night match between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore will take place at the DY Patil Stadium.

There will be a total of 12 doubleheaders, with the opening match beginning at 3:30 p.m. IST. At 7:30 p.m. IST, the evening matches will begin. On May 22, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings will play the last game of the league stage at Wankhede Stadium.
Later, the schedule for the Playoffs and the IPL 2022 final, which will take place on May 29, will be released.
