Cricket today prediction : Taskin Ahmed will not get a no-objection certificate from BCB to play for LSG in the IPL 2022.

Taskin Ahmed is presently in South Africa for a three-match One-Day International series.

Several players have already been ruled out of the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) due to injury or personal reasons. Mark Wood’s injury, which has put him out for the whole season, has just handed a blow to the Lucknow Super Giants. Though no formal confirmation was given, he was expected to be replaced by Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed, but that is no longer the case.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will not provide the fast bowler the No Objection Certificate (NOC) he needs to compete in the IPL. According to reports, LSG asked the BCB to enlist Taskin’s services, but the board declined since there is so much international cricket to be played.

Jalal Yunus, the head of the BCB cricket operation, revealed that authorities had met with Taskin Ahmed and that the player had previously notified LSG of his inability to participate in the IPL. “We don’t think it’s proper for him to play in the IPL since we have two crucial series coming up, including the present home tour of South Africa and the home series against India.”

“We talked with Taskin, and he was well aware of the issue. He notified the franchise that he will not be participating in the IPL and that he would be available for the South Africa trip before returning home.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh’s all-rounder is unlikely to feature in South Africa’s forthcoming two-match Test series. His family members, including his mother, second daughter, and youngest son, are ill, and the BCB is assisting him.

“Unless his family’s condition becomes really serious, we anticipate him to be available for the third ODI.” This is a life-or-death situation for him, and he will be permitted to come anytime he wants since his family comes first. We communicate with him on a regular basis. If the case warrants, he may miss the Test series, but we must remember that he is going through a difficulty and that we must support him,” Yunus said.
