New IPL 2023 Schedule – ICC Tour Programs in the Future: The International Cricket Council has agreed to the BCCI’s request for a lengthier window for the Indian Premier League, as previously reported by InsideSport (IPL). The IPL will now last for 74 days. The IPL 2023 season will now begin the second week of March and end the first week of June. It is noteworthy that the IPL has thus far begun in the latter week of March.

Plans for the future Future Tours and Programs have just just been completed by the ICC (FTP)
During this WINDOW, no major international cricket series will be played.
Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah earlier in June announced that the IPL is scheduled to receive a two and a half month official window beginning with the IPL 2023 on the FTP calendar as per the final draught. Additionally, windows will be granted to the BBL of Cricket Australia and The Hundred of England, which will interfere with bilateral cricket.
The ICC meeting in Birmingham, when the recently suggested proposals were considered, is where the plans were made official. IPL will always take place between the second and third weeks of March and the first week of June. Jay Shah said that the IPL’s existing 54-day window will be extended. The busy FTP schedule for Team India
Between May 2023 and April 2027, 138 bilateral international matches will be played by the Indian squad. India will play in 38 Tests, 39 ODIs, and 61 T20 Internationals; the increase in T20s is a definite sign of the direction the game is moving in. Most of the ODI bilateral series will consist of three games.
