All-rounder Tuba Hasan of the Pakistan women’s team claims that it took her seven to eight years to represent Pakistan.
The 21-year-old was the star of the show today and delivered a brilliant bowling performance to restrict Sri Lanka to a paltry 106-8. In his four overs, the leg-spinner took 3-8 wickets and was named man of the match.
Tuba remarked, “Alhumdulillah for match-winning performance on my debut. It took seven to eight years to reach this point and I am extremely pleased of it.” while discussing his ideal debut.
From local cricket to training camps and being a travel reserve for World Cup, I fought incredibly hard to play international cricket. And, here I am,” she further remarked.
When asked which of the three wickets she preferred, he named the spinning ball that clean bowled Harshitha Madavi as his favorite.
“I relished getting all three of my wickets. However, if you ask me about one, I’d say it was that bowled out,” the woman said.
