Muneeba Ali’s career has been riddled with ups and downs thus far. She was a part of the Pakistani squad due to his outstanding exploits on the home stage. She was later cut from the squad because she was unable to duplicate his form in international competitions. By relying on her performance in the National Triangular T20 Women’s Championship, she managed to return to the side once again.

Ali participated in the competition for the PCB Challengers. She tallied 116 runs while maintaining an astounding average of over 40. She also reached 50 years old. The young batsman is highly regarded by Pakistan’s team management, who sees her as the ideal aggressor for their batting order.

Childhood & Major Teams

On August 8th, 1997, Ali was born in Karachi, Sind. Selectors quickly saw her skill, and she was selected to the Pakistan Women Emerging Players side. She has also served her local teams well and has played for the Karachi Under-19s and Karachi Under-21s women.

Besides that, she has also plied her craft for PCB Blasters, Sindh Women, State Bank of Pakistan Women, Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited Women, Omar Associates Women, and PCB Challengers.

Domestic Career

Her List A career began in 2014, during the Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah Women Cricket Championship Seniors, according to the PCB website. She competed for Karachi Women, a local team, versus Rawalpindi Women. Javeria Khan and Rabiya Shah made an outstanding opening pairing, which allowed Karachi to win the match without using Muneeba Ali’s services.

She also participated in the tournament’s championship match, which Karachi Women lost against Lahore Women. Ali scored 14 runs in the game. In the National Under-19 Women’s Championship 2012/13 versus Abbottabad Under-19s Women, she played in her maiden T20 game in 2012. She has participated in the Malala First Under-21 National Women Championship 2014–15 for the Karachi Under-21s Women. In the tournament’s final game, she scored 10 runs.

Worldwide Career

A few months after turning 18, Ali made her debut in another country. On March 16, 2016, she participated in the Pakistani team’s match against the West Indies Women in Chennai. ALi scored 15 runs in 16 balls after being put in a difficult situation to bat.

A few years later, Ali made his ODI debut in Dambulla against Sri Lanka Women. She played for only three minutes and failed to open the scoresheet, making it a contest Ali would prefer to forget. Pakistan did win the match in his ODI debut, unlike his T2oI debut.

Stats & Centuries

Ali’s numbers aren’t very noteworthy. She has only been able to score 86 runs in the 7 ODIs she has played. Her strike percentage is little around 50 percent, and her average is 12. Even terrible are her T20Is scores. Only 82 runs have been amassed by Ali in her 13 games. Her average is less than 10, but her strike rate is over 50.

According to her statistics, Ali has yet to score a century or even a half-century. However, she has shown promise on the home circuit, and Pakistan’s selection committee will be hoping Ali soon realizes her full potential.
