The debriefing session ended in Mumbai. After some discussion, BCCI has only officially announced plans for injury and workload management. BCCI has nominated 20 players for his 2023 World Cup in October. To protect the player, BCCI asked her NCA to work with her IPL team on workload management. Apart from yo-yo testing, BCCI has made dexa testing mandatory for all players wishing to rejoin Team India after an injury. Additionally, young players must play a significant number of games in the country to qualify for selection in India.
Topics of player availability, workload management and fitness parameters were discussed in detail during the conference, as was the roadmap for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

This was his T20 World Cup throwback meeting, but BCCI preferred him to focus on his 2023 ICC World Cup in October. The Indian board has identified his 20 players for the World Cup to form his ODI’s core group of 35 for 2023.
