Shreyas Iyer was ruled out of the next three-game ODI series against New Zealand due to a back injury. He will go to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) for further evaluation and administration.
The selectors named him Rajat Patidar as Iyer’s replacement. In his final three games, Iyer has sent him off at 28, 28 and 38 respectively.
India will perform his first ODI with New Zealand on January 18th in Hyderabad.
