Cricbuzz prediction: Ranji Trophy: Hanuma Vihari breaks bone in quarterfinal against Madhya Pradesh

Andhra captain Hanuma Bihari broke his left wrist during the Ranji Trophy quarter-final match against Madhya Pradesh at Holkar Stadium in Indore on Tuesday.

Hit by the menacing bouncer of Avesh Khan of Madhya Pradesh, Bihari retired with an injury when he struck 16 of 37 balls. The skipper came in at his number three after Andhra Abhishek Reddy lost with his 37 on the board.

The 29-year-old has so far scored 464 runs in 13 innings, averaging 38.66 and 50 he has struck out in two.

Bihari last played for India in Edgbaston’s Test against England in July 2022, before being dropped out in the Test against Bangladesh and the following series against Australia.
