Nishan Madushka’s 150 underpinned a strong response from the SL President’s XI on day two of their warm-up game against the England Lions in Colombo. Madushka was looking to run the ball before retiring, but wicketkeeper Rahir Udara gave the Lions part of the first day’s attack back by breaking his 93 off his 85.
The SL President’s XI eventually returned his 58 runs but made great progress as the Lions batted again.
