The 2023 List of Honors published by the Government of India awarded the Padma Shri Award to three experienced trainers in different physical disciplines.
India’s president on Wednesday approved the awarding of 106 Padma awards, three of which he has given to athletes.
K Shanathoiba Sharma (Manipur), SRD Prasad (Kerala) and Gurcharan Singh (Delhi) will be recognized for their outstanding achievements in their respective fields at a ceremonial event at his Rashtrapati Bhawan in March or April. Awarded Padma Shri.
