Virat Kohli has moved up two places to sixth in the ICC rankings for men’s ODI batsmen after scoring his 45th ODI century in the first match against Sri Lanka at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. Kohli overtook England’s Jonny Bairstow and Australia’s Stephen Smith in the rankings.India captain Rohit Sharma, who scored 83 of 67 goals in the same match, finished eighth.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan’s leg his spinner, Rashid Khan, topped his ranking of T20I bowlers, replacing Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga, who averaged his three T20I appearances in India.
Hasaranga scored just 3 wickets in 3 matches where he scored 99 runs at an economy rate of 9.00 per over. Rashid has not played for T20I since last year’s World Cup in Australia.
