Legendary South African cricketer AB de Villiers complimented Team India’s five-wicket victory against Pakistan in their Asia Cup 2022 campaign opener on Monday.
India defeated Pakistan by five wickets on August 28, 2022 in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates, largely because of an outstanding effort from Hardik Pandya with both the bat and the ball.

Thanks to a 52-run partnership between Jadeja (35) and Hardik Pandya (33*), India came close to winning the game. The in-form Pandya smashed a six with two balls left to give India a five-wicket victory.
Nawaz (3/33) and Naseem Shah (2/27) of Pakistan’s bowling team gave commendable performances but fell short of securing a victory.
Pandya was named “Man of the Match” for his all-around effort.
