Free cricbuzz prediction: Bangladesh appoints David Moore as program director on two-year deal

BCB has appointed David Moore as Program Director for a two-year term beginning in February. According to a board media release, Moore will be “responsible for the planning, strategic planning and implementation of the HP (High Performance) and Bangladesh Tigers programs to ensure that these programs directly benefit the interests of the national team”.

Jalal Yunus, chairman of cricket operations, spoke last month about the position to centralize player development. He said the position was similar to that of a high performance director.

He said, “We beat South Africa in the ODI series, but in Test he didn’t do well in the series. We won the test in New Zealand. I don’t think that’s enough,” Jalal said at the time. “We want to focus on testing and T20. We want to make a coordinated effort to enhance this aspect of the game. For the overall planning of the Bangladesh cricket structure, we have a strong director on board.” I am considering. All these changes will bear fruit in a year or two. ”

Moore also oversees the coach development program. He said he is excited about the opportunity to contribute to the development of cricket in Bangladesh:
“He is very excited to begin his role as Director of Programs at BCB. looking forward to it.

“I am delighted to have been given the task of directing and developing some very important programs that will offer elite cricketers the opportunity to play on the international stage.”

Moore was a senior coach at Cricket Australia’s Center of Excellence before being General Manager and Head of Coach Development for Cricket NSW. He worked as his assistant coach in the West Indies and head of the team for the 2007 Tour of England where he became coach. He also coached the Bermuda national team.
