Chasing a modest total with a short batting lineup may be difficult, but Morne van Wyk, Alviro Petersen, and Andrew Puttick made quick work of it. At the end, even Jonty Rhodes got in on the act with 17 off 7 deliveries.
India will be the opponent for South Africa. It may have played a near-perfect game against England, but doing so against India would be difficult. We believe South Africa’s batting lineup is frail, and that a couple of wickets would be enough to pull them down. The batting failed against Sri Lanka’s spinners, as well.

This match will be won by India Legends, and we will bet on them. India’s batting is more strong, its spinners are more effective, and its bowling matches up well against South Africa’s batting. The only way for South Africa to win this match is for its bowlers to absolutely destroy India’s batting. We simply do not believe this is going to occur.
