Contractual commitments for advertisements and ad shoots are among the obligations that the Indian Premier League (IPL) stars must fulfil, which keep them as busy as their practise and training sessions. Mumbai Indians (MI) captain Rohit Sharma’s latest post, which brings his online family up to date with pre-IPL tidbits, moves the emphasis to actual battles as the slew of shoots comes to an end before the tournament starts. A shoot set-up is clear in the picture, with only Rohit’s white shoes visible. A MI backpack can also be seen in the photo.

On March 31, the Mumbai Indians’ Twitter account posted a video of Rohit with his family at a shoot. In this video, Rohit and his wife Ritika Sajdeh are seen placing a helmet on their daughter Samaira and instructing her to demonstrate how she can help MI.

For the series against England, Rohit, Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, and Suryakumar Yadav moved directly from the national team’s bio-bubble to the MI bio-bubble, reporting to the IPL camp on March 29.
If they look to repeat the momentum of the previous two seasons, MI will be searching for big guns to shoot and new hires including Jimmy Neesham, Adam Milne, and Piyush Chawl to chip in.
