Arjun Tendulkar, the Mumbai Indians’ newest recruit, shared a photo with Dhawal Kulkarni and Aditya Tare on Instagram on Sunday. Arjun can be seen standing with the two Mumbai domestic stars in his Instagram account, which he captioned “Mumbai Trio.” At the Indian Premier League (IPL) player auction earlier this year, Mumbai Indians paid Rs 20 lakh for Arjun Tendulkar, the son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

Arjun made his Twenty20 debut for Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament in January of this year. He appeared in two matches and took two wickets.

Arjun had smashed 77 runs off 26 balls and picked up three wickets to help MIG Cricket Club register a big victory in a Police Shield Tournament game just days before the IPL 2021 player auction.

The Mumbai Indians, the most prolific franchise in IPL history, will have the opportunity to become the first team to win the tournament three years in a row.

The Rohit Sharma-led team won the IPL in 2019 by crushing Chennai Super Kings in the final, and then successfully defending their title the next year when the tournament was moved to the UAE due to the coronavirus.

The Mumbai Indians will play the Royal Challengers Bangalore, led by Virat Kohli, in Chennai on April 9 to begin their title defence.
