Ravindra Jadeja posted photos of himself with MS Dhoni on Friday, saying that every time he sees the former India captain, he feels like he’s meeting him for the first time.

On Thursday, Jadeja completed his quarantine and joined the CSK squad for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Jadeja has been out of action for three months due to a thumb injury, but he will return on April 10 when CSK face the Delhi Capitals in the IPL’s second match.

Before joining the CSK camp, Jadeja had already begun his preparation for the IPL. Since returning to the field after thumb surgery in March, the all-rounder practised batting and bowling. After that, he went to the National Cricket Academy to get a fitness certificate.

Jadeja injured his left thumb while batting on Day 3 of the third Test against Australia in January. He later underwent scans, which revealed that he had dislocated his thumb.

The IPL 2021 season will kick off on April 9 with a match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). On April 10, CSK will face Delhi Capitals in their first match.
