Ravindra Jadeja, an all-rounder for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), shared photos with MS Dhoni on Friday, saying that the level of enthusiasm when he meets the former India captain is always the same. “Every time I see him, it’s as though I’m meeting him for the first time! When I first saw him in 2009, I was ecstatic. #respectforever, #bonding “Along with the videos, Jadeja wrote. On Thursday, Jadeja completed his quarantine and joined the CSK squad for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Jadeja has been out of action for three months due to a thumb injury, but he will return on April 10 when CSK face the Delhi Capitals in the IPL’s second match.
On Twitter, CSK shared a photo of Jadeja smiling alongside Suresh Raina in the yellow jersey. “It’s Apna time! #WhistlePodu #Yellove, #WhistlePodu, #WhistlePodu, #Wh “CSK had sent out a tweet.
Before joining the CSK camp, Jadeja had already begun his preparation for the IPL. Since returning to the field after thumb surgery in March, the all-rounder practised batting and bowling. After that, he went to the National Cricket Academy to get a fitness certificate.
Jadeja injured his left thumb while batting on Day 3 of the third Test against Australia in January. He later underwent scans, which revealed that he had dislocated his thumb.
The IPL 2021 season will kick off on April 9 with a match between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). On April 10, CSK will face Delhi Capitals in their first match.
