IPL Prediction 2023: Rishabh Pant flew by ambulance to Mumbai for surgery

India’s wicketkeeper has been transferred to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and Institute of Medicine to undergo “surgery and subsequent treatment” for ligaments injured in a road accident last week.

Rishabh Pant has been transferred to a hospital in Mumbai to treat injuries sustained in a car accident last week.

Punt, who is currently recovering at Max Hospital in Dehradun, will be transported by ambulance to Mumbai, BCCI said in a release. He was admitted to Kokila Bendirubhai his Ambani hospital and medical institute where he “underwent surgery and then surgery” for a ligament tear he sustained in an accident.

According to BCCI, Punt “will be under the direct supervision of Dr. Dinsho Padiwala, Director of the Center for Sports Medicine and Director of the Hospital’s Arthroscopy and Shoulder Service.

Punt will continue to be monitored by the BCCI medical team during recovery and rehabilitation. “The Board will make every effort to support and expedite [Pant]’s recovery process and will provide any and all support he may need during this period.”
