After Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly revealed that the Indian Premier League 2023 (IPL 2023) would be played in the traditional home-and-away format, CSK fans were ecstatic. Since 2020, the IPL has only been played in a few cities due to COVID rules. As a result, devoted CSK fans were unable to see their “Thala” MS Dhoni in action. Now, however, there’s a possibility that Dhoni may play at Chepauk once again in IPL 2023. Notably, there is a very good likelihood that Dhoni’s illustrious career may come to an end during the IPL 2023.
In a letter to all state organisations, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly announced that the 2023 IPL would be played in a home-and-away format. CSK fans stormed Twitter with the hashtag #IPL2023, as soon as this news broke.
Dhoni watched the just finished US Open when he was last seen in the country.
