The Indian Premier League is back, with reigning champions Mumbai Indians (MI) taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in the season opener of IPL 2021. MI will be looking to start their title defence with a victory, led by Rohit Sharma. Mumbai has signed Piyush Chawla, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Adam Milne, Jimmy Neesham, and Arjun Tendulkar ahead of the new season. The son of Sachin Tendulkar was purchased for Rs 20 lakh. During the auction, Marco Jansen and uncapped Yudhvir Charak were also included. Meanwhile, MI has retained their key stars, so fans can expect to see Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Kieron Pollard, and others.Trent Boult and Jasprit Burah are back in the blue and gold.
