David Warner, the captain of SunRisers Hyderabad, received a lot of support from Australia ahead of his first match in the IPL 2021. Warner’s daughters posed in the SRH jersey ahead of Sunday’s match against the Kolkata Knight Riders to show their support for their father and the SRH captain. “If you’re excited for our first game tonight, raise your hand. My biggest cheerleaders are pumped and ready to go “Warner posted photos of his daughters on social media in a tweet.
Warner is back in the IPL after leading the team to a playoff berth last year. The only SRH captain to win an IPL award is Warner. In 2016, he led the team to their first IPL championship.
Last season, the left-handed opening batsman scored 548 runs at a strike rate of 134.64 with four half-centuries in 16 games.
Warner has 5254 IPL runs at a strike rate of 141.54 from 142 matches, with four centuries and 48 half-centuries.
Jonny Bairstow, Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan, and Jason Holder are among the overseas players for SRH, in addition to Warner.
Manish Pandey, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, and Khaleel Ahmed are among the Indian players who make up SRH’s well-balanced squad for the IPL.
Last season, they finished third in the league after winning seven of their 14 games.
In addition, SRH has the services of explosive England opener Jason Roy, who was brought in to replace Mitch Marsh.
Roy, on the other hand, arrived in Chennai on Saturday for SRH’s first leg of the IPL and is currently serving his quarantine.
