Jagadeesh Suchith Bio

Jagadeesha Suchith, another of Karnataka’s almost infinite supply of left-arm spinners, is also a useful lower-order batsman. Suchith, who was born in Mysore, rose to fame as a T20 specialist. He made his debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy in 2013-14, however he didn’t do anything in his first few appearances; but, by 2015, he was playing in the Indian Premier League for the Mumbai Indians.

When Suchith was playing for MI, he was decent enough to hold experienced left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha and his partner Harbhajan Singh out of the lineup. His unbeaten 21-ball 34 on IPL debut in a furious 100-run partnership with Harbhajan Singh helped him develop himself as a valuable tail-ender (64).
