On Sunday, RPSG Sports, the owner of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Lucknow Super Giants, announced the appointment of MSK Prasad as the ‘Director – Talent Search and Academies.’ The IPL side shared on social media that Prasad would be focusing on their grassroots and scouting programs.
A wicketkeeper-batsman, Prasad represented India in six Tests and 17 One-Day Internationals between 1998 and 2000. He also played 96 First-Class matches for Andhra.
In 2016, Prasad assumed the role of chairman of the national selection committee, a position he held until 2020.
