Vidarbha struggled against Rajasthan in its most recent game after cruising through Assam in the previous round. Vidarbha was assigned to bat first, but despite a strong start from Atharva Taide and Aman Mokhade, they could only score 136 runs. Rajasthan comfortably attained the goal with 9 wickets remaining.
The Vidarbha squad lacks the dominant players who might frighten the opposition. Aman Mokhade has been their top batsman so far, but he hasn’t been able to turn those promising starts into significant scores.
Their bowling unit, which has been leaking too many runs, is their weakest link, too.
