MS Dhoni has started his plans for the Indian Premier League. The players of the Chennai Super Kings have begun their preparations for the upcoming season, which starts next month, and Dhoni has begun hitting the nets. During practise sessions in Chennai, the CSK captain was seen smashing the ball for sixes, which has enthralled the fans.

CSK posted a video of Dhoni putting the bowlers through their paces, and Super Kings fans would be overjoyed to see their favourite cricketer looking fine with the bat before the 2021 IPL.

Dhoni arrived in Chennai on March 3 and is currently practising with the CSK team after passing their RT-PCR tests during the quarantine time.

Apart from the legendary Dhoni, the camp, which began on Monday, includes senior batsman Ambati Rayudu, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and a few others. N Jagadeesan, R Sai Kishore, and C Hari Nishaanth of Tamil Nadu, who were selected in last month’s auction, trained with Dhoni and Rayudu.

Another new recruit, medium-pacer Harishankar Reddy, was also present. “The CSK players finished their quarantine criteria and started training yesterday; after a time of quarantine, the others would eventually join the camp,” he said.

Others, such as leg-spinner Karn Sharma and Bhagath Varma, who were recently selected during auctions, are expected to arrive in the coming days, according to Viswanathan.

Last Wednesday, Dhoni arrived in the area. CSK bought England all-rounder Moeen Ali for 7 crore in a recent mini-auction, along with Karnataka all-rounder K Gowtham (for 9.25 crore) and Cheteshwar Pujra (for 50 lakh).
