The 2021 Indian Premier League season will begin on April 9, and Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni and his teammates returned to the nets as the three-time champions started their training sessions at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium. The sessions started after all of the players and staff cleared their RT-PCT rests during the quarantine phase, according to the news agency PTI.

Apart from Dhoni, several other main players were seen at the nets, including Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ambati Rayudu. N Jagadeesan, R Sai Kishore, C Hari Nishaanth, and Harishankar Reddy, the new hires, were all in attendance at the training.

“The CSK players finished their quarantine conditions and started practising the day before yesterday. After a time of quarantine, the others will gradually enter the camp “Reddy expressed his thoughts.
The remaining players will arrive at the training sessions in the coming days, according to CSK CEO K Viswanathan.

The Dhoni-led franchise’s IPL 2020 season in the UAE was not particularly memorable. CSK struggled to qualify for the playoffs for the first time in the tournament’s history, finishing in seventh place.
