According to former Pakistani head coach Mickey Arthur, Babar Azam’s dismissal by Bhuvneshwar Kumar provided the foundation for India’s victory over Pakistan.

“Bhuvneshwar Kumar, an excellent bowler, got Babar to start things off. He took out the best player, and when you do that, you kind of throw the other team into a panic,” Arthur told ESPNcricinfo.
On August 31 at the same Dubai location, India will play their second game in the 2022 Asia Cup versus Hong Kong.
