Jasprit Bumra is poised for his long-awaited return to international cricket after being declared healthy again.Bamra, who has been out of action since September 2022, has been included in the ODI squad. After that, we are scheduled to play against Sri Lanka later this month.
Bumrah’s last appearance for India was at home against Australia in the T20I series. As a result, he was forced to miss his T20 World Championships in Australia and underwent rehabilitation before being declared fit by the NCA.
India already has Mohammad Shami, Mohamed Siraj, Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh in his squad for Sri Lanka’s series. The series begins in Guwahati on January 10th. Bumra’s return will be a timely boost for the senior side as Australia are due to tour India next month for his Gavaskar trophy for Borders.
