Following the purchase of Rilee Rossouw, Manish Pandey, Ishant Sharma and more at auction in Kochi on Friday, the expected starters for the Delhi Capitals are:
Delhi Capitals retained the bulk of the IPL 2023 auction team and had only five slots to fill. They found a backup wicketkeeper in Phil Salt and strengthened the batting with informs Rilee Rossouw and Manish Pandey. Up-and-coming pacesetter Mukesh Kumar and veteran Ishant Sharma have also found a home in Delhi’s already talented fast bowling division.
While the team didn’t invest in the all-rounder at auction, it relied heavily on the players they retained in Mitchell Marsh and Axar Patel, making the Capitals one of the most versatile franchises in the tournament.
