West Indies fast bowler Kemer Roach returns to Surrey for the first six games of the LV Insurance County Championship season.
The 34-year-old Roach will return to the club for his third season after a successful 2021 game and his 2022 title-winning season. In his Surrey years he has taken 47 wickets at his 23.57, including his best count 8 for 40 against Hampshire in 2021.
His 25 wickets for Roach saw him win six wickets in seven matches, including his second innings five against Warwickshire at his Oval at Kier in July.
Roach became just the sixth West Indian to reach his wicket in the 250th Test last year, but he will join the squad ahead of Surrey’s first match away to Lancashire at Trafford. ). Roach would then be able to travel to Edgbaston and Chelmsford before finishing his career with two home derbies against Middlesex (11-14 May) and Kent (18-21 May). .
