PSL Today Match Prediction : Andy Flower Reveals Reasons for Opting Out of PSL

Former Zimbabwean cricketer Andy Flower, who previously served as the coach for Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), has disclosed the reasons behind his decision not to participate in the upcoming PSL 9.

In an interview with a local cricket website, Flower explained that he will not be involved in PSL 2024 due to time constraints and exhaustion. He cited his packed schedule last year, where he coached in the IPL, PSL, and other tournaments without any breaks, leading to fatigue and occasional mistakes.

Flower expressed appreciation for his time with Multan Sultans, particularly highlighting his respect for the Tareen family and his positive experience working with Alamgir and Ali Tareen. Despite his absence this year, Flower commended the appointment of Abdul Rehman as the team’s coach.

Andy Flower made significant contributions as the head coach of Multan Sultans, guiding the team to victory in the PSL 2021 and securing runner-up positions in both 2022 and 2023.

Following Flower’s departure, Abdul Rehman has taken over as the coach for Multan Sultans in the upcoming PSL 9.
