The ILT20 league consists of 6 teams (Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah) playing a total of 34 matches in the United Arab Emirates.
ILT20 continues to grow as the league acquires another official partner, Fairplay News. It has supported numerous teams and leagues, including the 2022 Asian Cup winning Sri Lankan women’s and men’s teams.
“We are firm believers in the spirit of sport and want to push the boundaries and bring the sporting community together. I would like to thank the league for letting me participate.” The DP World International League T20 was launched on Friday 13th January (2023) at the Dubai International Stadium in front of a huge and enthusiastic crowd cheering on their respective teams. The opening round was between Abu Dhabi Night Riders, co-owned by Shah Rukh Khan, and GMR Group’s Dubai Capitals, with Dubai Capitals claiming their first victory.
