Bumrah has been out of action since September 2022 and has also been ruled out of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup due to his back injury.
The All India Senior Selection Committee on Tuesday included Jaspirit Bumrah in India’s ODI squad for the next three-match series against Sri Lanka.

BCCI said in a statement:
“Pacemaker has undergone rehabilitation and has been declared fit by the National Cricket Academy (NCA). He will soon join Team India’s ODI squad.”
The ODI series will start in Guwahati on his January 10th. Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram will host the rest of the games in the series.
