Shahbaz Ahmed is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Bengal Bengal in domestic cricket matches.
According to a 2018 NITI Aayog survey, Shahbaz grew up playing cricket in Mewat, the country’s most backward district. He decided to pursue cricket seriously and relocated to Palwal, where he enrolled in his first cricket academy.

He played cricket for the Gurgaon (now Gurugram) team for a few years, but he was not selected for the Haryana team. As a result, in 2015, one of his cricket friends in Bengal suggested that he come to Bengal and play cricket for the Tapan Memorial Club. He put in some outstanding performances for Tapan Memorial Club, winning him a spot in the Bengal Cricket Team’s Ranji Trophy squad.

On December 14, 2018, he made his first-class cricket debut for Bengal. His teammates refer to him as the Bengal Cricket Team’s nucleus.

After that, he played List A and T20 cricket for Bengal. He also played for India A in the Deodhar Trophy in 2019.

He rose to fame as a result of his excellent achievements in domestic cricket, both with the bat and with the ball. As a result, he was purchased for 20 lakh INR by the Royal Challengers Bangalore to compete in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.
