Due to a knee injury, Hannah Darlington will sadly miss at least half of the season. However, adding fast bowler Belinda Vakarewa from the Hurricanes would significantly improve the frontline bowling assault.
With 56 wickets in 76 outings and a 3/8 outstanding performance, Vakarewa has been as reliable as they come.
HOBART HURRICANES WOMEN
The Hurricanes are getting ready for a huge season, particularly since they must be disappointed with their sixth-place finish from the previous campaign.
For starters, the squad acquired top-order hitters Elyse Villani and Lizelle Lee, two highly noteworthy acquisitions. There has been a clear lack of dependability at the top level, but these two will undoubtedly immediately correct the problem.
The Hurricanes really needed some seasoned players on the roster, and Villani in particular is an accomplished Australian hitter who understands how to start a game. In 62 games, Villani has scored 1,369 runs with an average of 28.52 and a high of 90*.
