Today Cricbuzz Prediction : Paine replaces suspended captain Wade in Hobart Hurricanes’ BBL game against Melbourne Renegades

The development comes after Hobart Hurricanes captain Wade, who is also the team’s wicketkeeper, was suspended from the game for his second code of conduct violation in two years.

Tim Paine is expected to return to the Big Bash League (BBL) after the Hobart Hurricanes named him to replace Matthew Wade for Saturday’s game against the Melbourne Renegades at Hobart’s Brandstone Arena. It marks Payne’s comeback, the wicket-keeper’s batsman, almost his first BBL in five years.

The development comes after Hobart Hurricanes captain Wade, who is also the team’s wicketkeeper, was suspended from the game for his second code of conduct violation in two years.

The Hobart Hurricanes said in a statement that Wade was “suspended after he committed three violations of the Level 1 Code of Conduct in an 18-month period.”

The 34-year-old Tasmanian was charged with “two counts of audible indecency” and “one count of misusing cricket equipment”.

Last week, Australia’s Groveman was criticized for yelling “corn full” just before Perth Scorchers hitter Faff Du Plessis took a shot, which led to the sacking of the former South African captain. Infuriated, Du Plessis glared at Wade.

Paine last played for the Hurricanes on 4 February 2018 against Adelaide against the Strikers. The 38-year-old has stepped down as Australia’s captain after being in the middle of a sex tape scandal after the January 2021 Brisbane Test against India.
