IND vs. SL T20I, ODI Series Teams:
Hardik Pandya will lead India in his three-game T20I series against Sri Lanka starting in Mumbai on January 3, with Rohit his Sharma returning to his ODI leg.
India’s T20I team will lead HardikPandya in their first home series against Sri Lanka in 2023, BCCI announced on Tuesday.
This marks Hardik’s second time leading India in his T20Is in the absence of regular skipper Rohit Sharma since his tour to New Zealand in November following his 2022 T20 World Cup semi-final defeat. It’s a continuous series.
Rohit will be back in his second half of January and will lead his ODI Series roster for his three games starting January 10 in Guwahati.
His T20I series of three games will begin on his January 3rd in Mumbai, followed by Pune and Rajkot. India will then start preparing for his 2023 ODI World Cup with his three matches against Sri Lanka in Guwahati, Kolkata and Thiruvananthapuram. Mavi, Mukesh called T20Is. Pants omitted
Uttar Pradesh’s Seamer Shiva Mavi and Bengali pacer Mukesh Kumar received the first of his T20I calls. Meanwhile, Rutraj his Gaikwad marked his return to the team after achieving success in his tournament over his national Limited. Rishabh pant, who served as India’s vice-captain in his T20Is during their recent New Zealand tour, has been left out of the 16-man squad. Dhawan, Pant was excluded from his ODI. shami is back
Senior Indian opener Shikar Dhawan has been dropped from the ODI team after losing streak in the final series. Dhawan has been leading India’s second team against South Africa and New Zealand in late 2022, but has been unable to fulfill his lead role at the helm of the order.
Rahul and Kohli return to his ODI with his Rohit, but he, a sailor, also returns after a shoulder injury he sustained in early December.
