Hardik Pandya was controversially sacked after being released on bail without Ball touching a stump at the inaugural One-Day International between India and New Zealand on Wednesday.
In his 40th over of India’s innings, Darryl Mitchell made his delivery long and went wide off the field near Pandia’s bat to bat for 28.
Pandia was released after 28 runs from 38 deliveries ahead of Darryl Mitchell.
