Today match session prediction : Sachin Tendulkar congratulates Sreesanth on retirement and wishes him luck in the second innings.

Tendulkar sent a message for Sreesanth on Instagram, wishing him well in the future.

Sachin Tendulkar, the legendary batsman, sent a message of congratulations to S Sreesanth, who announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Wednesday. Tendulkar and Sreesanth were key players in India’s historic ODI World Cup victory in 2011. Sreesanth has always been regarded as a brilliant bowler with a wide range of abilities, according to the renowned Indian cricketer.

Sreesanth played 27 Tests for India, taking 87 wickets, and 53 One-Day Internationals for the Men in Blue, taking 75 wickets. The bowler was also a member of India’s 2007 T20 World Cup-winning squad, when he grabbed Misbah Ul Haq’s catch in the final against arch-rivals Pakistan to secure the victory.

Tendulkar sent a message for Sreesanth on Instagram, wishing him well in the future.

“I’ve always thought of you as a gifted bowler with a wide range of abilities. Congratulations on your years of service as an ambassador for India, @sreesanthnair36. Best wishes for your second innings.”

Sreesanth went to Twitter on Wednesday to express his sadness as he announced his retirement from professional cricket after 25 years of service during which he ‘always desired success and winning cricket games.’

“For the sake of the future generation of players, I have decided to retire from first-class cricket.” This is my choice alone, and although I am aware that it will not bring me pleasure, it is the appropriate and honourable course of action at this point in my life. Sreesanth remarked, “I’ve treasured every minute.”

“It has been a privilege to represent my family, my colleagues, and the Indian people.” Also, everyone who enjoys the game. I am quitting from Indian domestic (first class and all forms) cricket with great grief but no remorse….”

Sreesanth, who was banned for life in 2013 for his suspected role in IPL spot-fixing, was optimistic of returning this year. In 2019, the Supreme Court overturned the pacer’s life sentence.

Sreesanth just registered for the IPL super auction, with a starting price of Rs 50 lakh. No team, however, shown interest in signing the seasoned bowler.
