India equaled a record six for most in a single international innings with a best of 19 against New Zealand in the third ODI held at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on Tuesday.
India’s previous record was in 2013 against Australia at his M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, where he scored 6 for 19 in an innings while Rohit Sharma scored a record-breaking 2. Recorded his 16th high of the century.
Indian captain Rohit in his 101 for 85 balls he crossed the ropes six times and in the opening his partner Shubman his Gil hit a maximum of five in an innings of 112 runs.
Hardik Pandya (3 6) and his Suryakumar Yadav (2 6) contributed to the count from the middle, with Virat Kohli, Ishan Kishan and Shardul Thakur each scoring one hit. Overall, England hold the record for most ODI innings in June 2022 with 26 against the Netherlands at the VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen, the Netherlands.
