The Rajasthan Royals have added depth to their line-up with the addition of West Indian all-rounder Jason Holder, who stole Rs 5.75 crore. Holders can follow in the footsteps of Jimmy Neasham, who has never actually set foot in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 2022 IPL runners-up have increased their spin arsenal by acquiring Murugan Ashwin and Adam Zampa, as well as former England captain Joe Root, who can anchor the middle order in Test conditions. The inclusion of Holder means the Royals are going deeper into the game, with Holder at No. 7, who also doubles as a capable fifth bowler and third seamer.
