Travis Head Bio

Travis Michael Head is an Australian cricketer who has established himself as a dependable middle order batsman in limited overs cricket.

He was born on December 29th, 1993. He is a left-handed batsman who can also bowl off break with his right arm.

In the BBL, Head is a member of the Adelaide Strikers. He’s also played for the South Australian domestic team on a regular basis.

In 2012, he was also a central member of Australia’s U 19 World Cup squad.

Head also has the distinction of becoming the Redbacks’ youngest captain.

He has also represented the Indian Premier League’s Royal Challengers Bangalore and the English County team Yorkshire.

Head has played 65 games throughout his career, scoring 2,165 runs at a strike rate of 37.32.

He’s taken 16 scalps for a total of 59.37 points.
