India’s U-19 women’s cricket team will face New Zealand on Friday in the first semi-final of the ICC U-19 Women’s T20 World Cup at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom, South Africa.
The Indian girl secured her fourth spot at the end after Bangladesh and England scored big wins in the final Super Six match. England will face Australia in the second leg of the semi-final. Both semi-finals will take place on January 27.
India finished first in Group 1 against New Zealand, while Kiwi finished her second behind England in net runs percentage in Group 2. The winners of these two matches will meet in Sunday’s final, also at Potchefstroom.
