WIPL Prediction 2023: IPL for women: Viacom18 acquires her WIPL media rights for Rs 951 crore and pays BCCI Rs 709 crore per match

Viacom18 has secured media rights to the women’s IPL for five years (2023-2027) at an auction held in Mumbai on Monday. Viacom has promised her Rs 951 million, which equates to her Rs 709 crore value per game. Viacom outperforms Disney Star, Sony, and Zee. The Network 18 media house also owns the digital rights to the men’s IPL and his SA20 league underway in South Africa. The base prices for the opening auction before WIPL are divided into 5 categories ranging from Rs.100,000 to Rs.50,000. Auction registration deadline is January 26th.

According to guidance notes on auction registration schemes shared by the Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI) and state federations, there is a minimum price at which female cricketers can choose. Capped players – players who have played in India or are currently on a central contract – can opt for Rs. With 30 lakh, Rs.40 lakh or Rs.50 lakh as base price, he has two options (Rs.10 lakh and Rs.20 lakh) for uncapped cricketer.

BCCI will introduce his five WIPL franchises on January 25th.
