After a “disappointing performance” against Mumbai Indians, Shah Rukh Khan apologises to KKR fans : IPL BETTING TIPS

On April 13, Shah Rukh Khan, co-owner of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) franchise in the Indian Premier League (IPL), voiced his dissatisfaction over the team’s surprising loss to the Mumbai Indians (MI) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. Shah Rukh Khan also expressed regret to the KKR fans for losing the match by ten runs in the final over despite being heavy favourites until the halfway point. He wrote on Twitter, “This was a poor result. To say the least, apologies to all fans from @KKRiders!”

With Andre Russell and Dinesh Karthik yet to arrive, Shah Rukh, like all KKR fans, was shocked to see the team go down after being in command until the 15th over. After MI’s spinners spun a web around KKR’s middle-order batsmen, Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah kept things close.

To help MI win, Boult defended 15 runs off the last six balls. In the final over, he claimed Andre Russell’s precious scalp, ending KKR’s hopes of chasing the 153-run mark.

Earlier in the match, KKR won the toss and chose to bowl against Rohit Sharma’s side. Eoin Morgan, the captain of KKR, used the same winning lineup as in the previous match against SRH. The match had been dominated by KKR by a margin of ten runs.

At the start of the game, Shakib-Al-Hasan was given his 50th KKR hat. MI, on the other hand, made a single shift from their IPL 2021 opener against Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore, bringing in Quinton de Kock in place of Chris Lynn (RCB).

KKR will now face RCB at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on April 18.
