Sachin Tendulkar, his father, is a cricket legend and is regarded as the God of Cricket.
His father arranged for him to attend a Cricket Coaching Club when he was eight years old.

Arjun made his debut in the Under-13 Tournament in Pune on January 22, 2010.

He bats from the left side.

He made his Twenty20 debut on 15 January 2021, when he played for Mumbai in the 2020–21 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Haryana, in which he appeared in two matches and took one wicket in each. His father’s last domestic match, which took place in October 2013, was against Haryana.

The Mumbai Indians purchased him for his base price of Rs. 20 lakh on February 18, 2021, in the IPL auction leading up to the 2021 Indian Premier League.
