big bash women’s 2022 Match prediction:Starring In Sydney Is Smriti Mandhana Shafali Verma Has a Disappointing Day After Thunder’s Victory

In the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL), Smriti Mandhana, the vice-captain for limited overs for India, smashed a 39-ball 45 to lead the defending champion Sydney Thunder to a six-wicket victory over the Sydney Sixers on Sunday. (Also in Cricket)

India’s first batter, Mandhana, hit six fours to lead her team in scoring. She and Corinne Hall formed a winning 53-run partnership to win the game (19). The fashionable Southpaw was unfortunate to be dismissed by pacemaker Stella Campbell in the 15th over, preventing her from reaching a well-earned fifty.

Deepti Sharma, an all-arounder from Mandhana’s country, scored the decisive runs for Thunder with 28 balls left in the game as she remained unbeaten at 4. Radha Yadav, a left-arm spinner for India, hurt herself while diving to make a catch close to the boundary and was unable to bowl.

When the Sixers decided to bat, they got off to a shaky start as both of their openers were dismissed within the first six overs. An unfortunate day for India’s Shafali Verma (8 off 14), who was run out by teammate Deepti Sharma’s direct knock, and for star Australia wicketkeeper Alyssa Healy (7 off 16), who was bowled out by English quick Issy Wong.

As the Sixers managed to reach 94 for six in their 20 overs, captain Ellyse Perry struggled to a run-a-ball 40 with Nicole Bolton (19) and Angela Reakes (16).

While Deepti bowled a sparing performance, with statistics of 0/19 in her four overs, she failed to pick up any wickets. Shafali and Healy, a threatening opening pair, were dismissed in large part because to the all-rounder.

Deepti not only ran out Shafali but also caught Healy off Wong in back-to-back overs at square-leg.

Veteran Indian spinner Poonam Yadav performed admirably with the ball in another game. She was hit for one boundary and conceded 19 runs in 3.2 overs as Brisbane Heat fell to Adelaide Strikers by eight wickets.
